Dumor Senior Horse Feed

Dumor Senior Horse Feed - My current oldest is 26, he doesn't get senior but only gets 2 pounds of grain a day and is fat enough that the vet says dry lot. In the summer, i feed my miniature horses a dry mix. Dumor is contract manufactured by som eof the large commercial feed companies to be a cheaper feed that appeals to the farm store crowd. My chickens don't really seem to like them that much. I used purina for a long time & had the same picking problems. It is formulated based on a set.

I used purina for a long time & had the same picking problems. It says that it is 16% on the bag (does this mean protein, as it does with horse feed?) how is this feed? I think i would like to find a better way to get protein in the feed besides feeding chicken feathers from dead. My 4th bag of feed from tractor supply was a moldy clump of feed of course it was the stuff at the bottom of the feed bag so i feed my chickens bad feed before hitting the bottom. I Thought Someone Also Stated That Dumor Is Actually Made By Purina.

My 4th bag of feed from tractor supply was a moldy clump of feed of course it was the stuff at the bottom of the feed bag so i feed my chickens bad feed before hitting the bottom. Just wondering if anyone uses it. The dumor chick starter has chicken feathers as one of its ingredients. My chickens don't really seem to like them that much.

If So, That Would Pretty Much Conclude That Dumor Is A Generic Purina And There Is Not Much Sense In Buying Purina For An Extra $2 Per Bag.

The eggs then started to decrease in size. Now i'm only getting small to med. It says that it is 16% on the bag (does this mean protein, as it does with horse feed?) how is this feed? There is a lot of opinions on this food.

A Couple Of Months Ago I Noticed The Feed Was Darker And Had A Different Smell.

I've noticed most scratch grains are cracked corn & milo or maize. This is the cheapest option of the 3.
